It's your favorite patient from Mexico. First, I want to say how thrilled I am with the fillers you gave me during my last visit. It's amazing what a difference those touchups make!

I was wondering if you use Botox to treat platysmal bands? When I was in your office, you noticed a small band on my neck and used filler to disguise it. The results were beautiful but short-lived. Do you recommend Botox?

I put very little filler there. A greater amount will have better longevity. As far as Botox, I think you might be a good candidate because you are young. The younger the patient, the more effective. If you are older with hanging bands, it is less effective (or could make it worse). The more athletic and stronger the muscles, the better it works. I believe that fillers last longer. We could try both next time.
