This section of the forum is dedicated to discussions on various surgical techniques for facial rejuvenation, including fat transfer/fat grafting, browlift, blepharoplasty (cosmetic eyelid surgery), facelift, etc. Also, this category includes questions on hand rejuvenation via fat grafting. (Of note, Dr. Lam does not perform body rejuvenation except for hand fat grafting)
Liposculpture, Lipografting, Lipofilling, Fat Grafting, Fat Transfer, etc. are all words used to describe the same objective using body fat to rebuild lost volume of the face. Thanks for the question! best, dr. sam lam

honestly, i do not at all agree with the link. somehow they have come up with a term "lipofilling" to mean fat put in the tissues that will go away over time. i consider this simply bad fat grafting in the sense that it has no blood supply so that it will die over time. however, once you put fat into the face there is no guarantee that it will go away. if done right, it should stay. if i put fat into the face, i really trust that it will stay.
