DR. LAM--you sound very intersting and intelligent. Why not med. grade silicon under eyes for hollows--a few of my friends have had it down with great results--what should we know about this?? thanks, Kathy

i appreciate the question. i am opposed to a large amount of silicone under the eyes because i do not know how that material is going to age there. i just feel a lot of silicone placed there over the long run may not be a good idea. also, aging is so much more than just below the eyelids but also brow, anterior cheek, etc., which no one really gets until i do the fat transfer. that being said, that quantity of silicone over these wide expanses may not age well. i would not do it for you if you were my sibling. that is typically my test for what i would or would not do for you.
best,
