LAM FACIAL PLASTICS

Dear Dr Lim,

I got incision double eyelid surgery done in Asia more than a year and a half ago, the results are good but today i looked in the mirror and saw what looks like a small left-over stitch with skin now grown over it. Its the strangest thing because i don't know how i have not noticed it until now. Is it relatively easy to get it removed at any plastic surgery clinic?

if you had an incision based procedure, i don't understand why you would have any sutures in there but every surgeon is different. since i really have no idea what you are describing, i should refrain from commenting. you should see a local plastic surgeon to determine what is going on, preferably someone who does asian blephs.

I think its was something like a 3-point incision, i don't mean the stitch method. I had mini small stitches across my eyelid i guess to close the wound? which were all supposed to be removed after 5 days. But today i see a tiny black stitch maybe about 1mm long that is inside the skin on my eyelid...its along the line where my surgery cut to create my crease. I really can't remember if it has been there all this time, i certainly have not noticed it before. I will go to a local clinic soon, i just hope it wont be a problem to remove, or get infected etc. I'm just abit freaked out.
