After first session with well-known plastic surgeon, my lips looked deformed. I just had my 6th session to fix his initial mistake and they look horrible. Im so depressed. My lips were Perfect before I started. I just wanted them a little fuller, subtle. FIRST SESSION-My left top lip was left with a huge bulge that never went away...since then the surgeon has been trying to correct his mistake AND CHARGING ME FOR HIS MISTAKE!!!!! Im at a loss. I'm young and don't want to spend the rest of my life like this. Please help.....
of course, i can help with a lip reduction if you would like. that might be the next step.

How much does corrective surgery cost? I have pictures from start to current if it helps. Not only are my lips not symmetrical, but now with the correction attempt, my profile is off (the top lip is noticeably bigger. I thank you for your quick response earlier...already i feel much better
send me a photo with mouth open and closed. that would be a first start. best, sml

can you crop the lips and put it here so that no one can recognize you?

ok, from what i see your upper lip looks too far out and sort of lumpy more on the left than the right and also bulgy in the center. i reduction of the entire upper lip focusing more on the center and left side would make the lip less protuberant and bulgy. you look like an excellent candidate to have an upper lip reduction. best, sml

I would like to maintain full lips...would it be possible to correct the top lip and match the bottom lip to a relative fullness? (as natural as possible)
Even the bottom has partial lumps
ROUGHLY, what are the costs associated with that?

the first order of business is making the lips look natural. that is my first goal. i would have to negotiate with you what you define as full but i need to make the lip look better. the bottom lip grossly looks normal. i think we can finesse that point when you come for a consult/procedure. roughly, i would take down about a 1/3 of the upper lip. best, sml

What is invovled in reducing the upper lip...do you cut open and remove the bulge (silicone)? How long is the recovery? I live in El Paso, Tx and would have to make the trip there. Will this be done over several visits?
it is done once. no, the silicone becomes solidly part of your tissue. i shape the lip by removing the portion that does not look good. hard to explain in a forum. go to my lip reduction section and watch all the videos including the after care video. that will explain a lot. basically, you can fly in and fly out the same day. you will have dissolvable sutures. swelling is variable: anywhere from a few days to a few weeks of your not liking it. 3 days of soft diet following the procedure. typically minimal discomfort. if you are interested in arranging anything, email constanze@lamfacialplastics.com. best, sml
