LAM FACIAL PLASTICS

I had a depressed and wide scar left by a former scar excision on my cheek. Dr. Lam performed a re-excision of the area using a geometric broken line excision. Dr. Lam and his staff were extremely kind to me. The thing that impressed me the most was that Dr. Lam seemed like he actually cared about the result and the patient. He takes pride in his work and was extremely concerned about my physical condition as well as my mental condition throughout the process.

The sutures were removed earlier today so the result still remains to be seen (I will post on this in the future). However, I was very impressed with his compassion for my situation. I think a major problem in the medical field is a lack of empathy by Doctors. Therefore I was very happy to find a surgeon that actually cared.

Lastly, I have to mention that I am very grateful to him for answering my questions. I sent Dr. Lam numerous questions throughout the process and he promptly responded to each question. He was very eager to answer any concern that I had. Which is great because I believe that I’ll have many more questions for him in the future!

I will post in the future on result of the overall procedure since the wound is still healing and I cannot give an accurate assessment as of right now. I hope it works out though!
