Dermabrasion revisited

Postby pupziggy » Mon Sep 21, 2009 8:58 pm

greetings dr. Lam

it's me mary again from d.c. last i saw you was in june for your wonderful work with botox. we spoke about doing the dermabrasion again on the 2 scars on my forehead that bother me the most. pre-botoxing that area a day before then dermabrading the very outter edges to soften/flatten the scar(s) out.

i wanted to be clear with what you explained to me about recovery time. you mentioned it would be the same recovery time as when i had dermabrasion 2 years ago. does that mean i cannot apply makeup to the area until after 2 weeks??? i plan on just taking a week off work.

i wanted to see if you had any availabiltiy in oct. to perform the dermabrasion. and if you think that if i have it done on a mon. leaving dallas on wed. would be enough time for follow-up etc.

thanks in advance
mary

i think probably no makeup for about 7 to 9 days would be fine. the recovery probably won't be that bad. probably 5 days or so of not looking that great i would estimate. i think a week off work will be ok. always trying to be careful of creating unrealistic expectations. call tomorrow to check 888-866-3388. my schedule is pretty crazy right now but look forward to take care of you.
best,
