What treatments for these scars?

Postby Henboy » Fri Jul 31, 2009 2:10 am

Just need some advice on what possible treatments for my scars. The only thing ive considered is dermarolling/needling but i think my scars are too severe for that. :\

these are not amenable for silicone. the only thing that will work well in my hands is the CROSS acid treatment. it may improve after 2 rounds or so spaced at least a month if not several months apart. i do not have extensive experience with dermarolling so i will refrain from commenting on it one way or the other.
best,

I read here that cross is best for scars less than 1mm wide but a lot of my scars on the pics are larger than that, especially on my forehead. Does that mean you'd only be able to treat the real small ones?

Also would cross be safe to do while on antibiotics(tetracycline)?
Thanks for your help.

i would fix the separate small holes on the forehead which would enhance the whole thing. sometimes the result is a product of the sum of the parts. i can put some small cross treatments into the linear portion since it is quite thin too. you should be fine on antibiotics.
