freckles

Postby sunshine » Sun Jul 05, 2009 11:56 pm

Hi Dr.Lam,

I have a few freckles as a result of sun exposure and was wondering what method you use to treat them. The website mentions the use of a ktp laser. Is there any pain associated with the procedure and any risks? Could they be treated on the same day of consultation?

Thanks
sunshine

if you just have freckles, the best thing to do is to speak with my laser center if you don't already have a consultation time with me. it is far easier to get in with them than with me. 972-312-8189. also, i always advise to make sure that you have consulted with your dermatologist to make sure that you do not have any suspicious lesions that should not be lasered.
best,
