My mom has had her mole removed a few weeks ago [by her house doctor, not a plastic surgeon or dermatologist]. My mom's mole had only grown larger during her life, so it got me thinking about getting the mole removed from my face now rather than later.
My house doctor recommended I have mine removed by a plastic surgeon since it's on my face.
In my country we only have two plastic surgeons, and only one was recommended to me by my home doctor.
I started doing some research online in order to know what to ask my potential surgeon and came across your website which has a lot of useful information [,thanks for that!].
I don't know yet of the plastic surgeon I will be seeing is experienced enough in this type of procedure in order to guarantee the results I'm aiming for [almost unnoticable scar].
I will be meeting him next week and I would like to know if there are any questions with "standard" answers with which I can measure his experience. For example, you mention that for a proper mole removal, the so-called relaxed skin-tension lines should be followed. That seems like a standard procedure that should be followed, so I can ask the surgeon where is the incision going to be?
I have a whole list of questions I will be asking the surgeon.
Do you have any tips on standard procedures that I can use when I'm interviewing the potential plastic surgeon? I would really appreciate any I can get.
If he does not meet my requirements I will have to start searching for a plastic surgeon abroad.
P.s. thanks for having the registration issue solved so quickly
