LAM FACIAL PLASTICS

I traveled quite a distance to have Dr. Lam take a look at my acne scarring. When I actually met him in person, I felt like I was meeting a celebrity (I've heard and read so much about him and his work) so I was a little in shock. I wanted to have silicon injections done but Dr. Lam told me I was not a candidate because my scars were not severe enough. I immediately deflated at this answer but also felt elated that I got such a positive answer from somebody who has seen thousands. He told me that I could use TCA cross on some of my ice picks, and said that I can only have one to two treatments because of the mildness of my scarring. He told me that we are all our own worst critics at times, and that bit of advice struck a cord with me.

Seeing as how I flew all that way to see him, I wanted to get something done, so I went with the cross. As far as the TCA cross went, i could tell he was highly experienced. He worked fast and diligently and the procedure was over after five minutes. I didn't look bad after the treatment at all. He and his staff were SOOO friendly, my flight didn't leave for five more hours so they let me chill in the back and watch TV. They even gave me some cake and made me some coffee. I honestly was blown away by their hospitality. I consider myself to be a shy person, but his staff got me chatting more than I am accustomed to. They even called me a cab! I've never been treated so nice by strangers in my entire life.

Thanks Dr. Lam, for being so honest in your evaluation of me. You could've charged me for something I didn't need and went ahead with the silicon procedure, but you are true to yourself and respect your patients enough to give it to them straight. You truly want to help people and I could sense that in the short time I spoke with you. You deserve every accolade that comes your way. You are one of a kind. Meeting you only motivates me to study harder in school so I can grow to be a great success as you have. I want to thank you and your staff for everything. I'll see you guys in four months!

Oh, and as a side note, there was a lady in the offices that I talked with for about fifteen minutes. After asking her "how long have you known Dr. Lam?" she replied "I'm his mother." I was totally in shock because she looked so young for her age! She showed me her before and afters and it was a true testament to Dr. Lam's work. I told her sorry that I didn't know and she said that it happened all the time. Great experience all around.
