dr. lam, i was wondering if tca peels if done repeatedly will have any effect on shallow ice pick scarring? i wasn't even sure if you performed tca peels so i was curious. in addition to my rolling scars i have some top layer ice picks that i have considered getting a peel done on.

i have done a ton of TCA peels in the past but none for acne scarring. light TCAs do close to nothing for acne scarring. the high dose CROSS TCA acts nothing like a conventional peel so i would not even classify it as the same even though it is TCA but at a much higher concentration. bottom line to your question: no. regular TCA peels do nothing for acne scarring IMHO.
