Bad lip augmentation

Postby Andrea » Fri Jun 05, 2009 12:40 pm

Dear doctor,

I had silicone gel injected in my upper lip 7yrs ago. I went back the next year to the same doctpor in order to injected a small amount into the left side of my lip as it is naturally slightly thinner. Now, my lip is droopy and lumpy - the way he inected the silicone, especially on the left side is very superficial, so, my lip has 'fallen'. Im really afraid as none of the doctors ive consulted are confident that there is a feasable solution to this, as surgical removal would not guarantee great results as the silicone has 'blended' with the tissue.

please help me

Best Regards,

Andrea

Thank you for your reply. Ive gone through your website and the correctional procedures you have done - took me two hours :) I am confident that you can really help me. Ive taken some photos so that you can asses the case for yourself, if you have time. I am looking towards the month of December to come and do the procedure, I need to get my finances sorted out as the trip itself would be quite costly. I would appreciate it if you can, after viewing the photos, briefly explain how the procedure would look? Additionally, I had ceramic braces put on last December and I am hoping that they wont interfere with the healing process..?
Thank you thank you for your time :) :)

hi,
a picture is worth a thousand words. to me it looks VERY doable. i have done tons of lips like yours. i just did one on friday for a lady from new york with the same problem but it affected both her lips. i actually do not try to remove the silicone which is impossible but instead cut the lip down to the size and shape that i want. for the bumpiness that does not fit into the area of planned excision, i go under the mucosa and trim down the bulk. it does not guarantee you won't have a tiny bump left but the distortion and unnaturalness should be significantly improved. i really look forward to fixing your problem. please schedule ahead. i am already booked well into september and i am gone for half of december, which is a popular month. if you want december, book it now. it will be gone before you blink. just call my office 888-866-3388 or email constanze@lamfacialplastics.com OR marcy@lamfacialplastics.com.
best,
