LAM FACIAL PLASTICS

Hi, Dr. Lam. I have some under the skin bumps caused by comedonal acne that have resisted myriad topical treatments and even low dose accutane. I'm uneducated about the mechanism of action by which things like kenalog or 5 FU works... But do you know if those injections can break down sebum and keratin build up that's deep under the skin and showing no sign whatsoever of going anywhere?

I know your specialty is not dermatology, but dermatology has failed me, so I guess it's time to think outside of the box?

sorry, it really is not my specialty and so i cannot effectively answer. also, 5-FU will absolutely not work.
