I know an implant can increase the projection of the chin, but can it also increase the height?
Most of the articles I've read say chin implants cannot increase the vertical dimension of the chin. These articles also say this can only be accomplished via sliding genioplasty.
On the other hand, I've read that some chin implants have been designed to increase both projection and height. This includes one designed by Dr Terino called a "vertical extension submandibular implant", referred to in his book, Three Dimensional Facial Sculpting. According to the diagram, the implant produced augmentation of 4mm of anterior and downward projection:

Another publication suggests that the Flowers Mandibular Glove Implant can also add some chin height:

Is it really possible and do you use either of chin implants?
I am mostly interested in increasing the projection of my chin, but would also like a just little bit of extra height. Hopefully, there is a way to do this without cutting the bone.
