hey dr. Lam, im flying in because i have a consultation with you mid june. i have rolling acne scarring that i can't see in normal light, in fact i dont notice it unless a flashlight or direct sunlight is flashing at me from different angles. overall, i would say my scarring is moderate. do you think that i am a good candidate for silicon injections? and do you think you could have a flashlight on hand for my consultation? I could bring my own, but i wouldn't want airport security on my back because of a flashlight. thanks for answering my question in advance.
hi, first silicone is excellent for rolling type scars. second, i use a spot light from above or tangentially to accentuate the areas when i deal with less severe cases to make sure i hit the area properly. however, third, if you barely see it then silicone may not work. i will have to see you in person. best, sml

wow, thank you for such a quick reply. let me rephrase, you can see them easily in certain lighting. can i send you a pic to give you an idea? and if so where can i post it? thanks dr. lam, you are awesome.
send me a PM. i'll take a quick look. obviously, as you know, pics are not a perfect way to estimate things. best, sml

one last question dr. lam. i have an aunt who is an aesthician and she has performed tca cross on a few icepick scars of mine. what's the ideal amount of time to space between a tca cross and a silicon injection, just to be safe?
probably 3 to 4 weeks should be more than fine. namaste, sml

probably but i simply get skittish with the word pregnant. therefore, i will NOT inject you if you are pregnant.
