hey dr. lam, i'm still enjoying what your botox technique had done for the smoothness of some forehead scars/pores. i come to see you for another round of botox june 1st. i would like to discuss further with you the possibility of dermabrading 1 scar.

i know you said my scars are very superficial, too superficial for silicone , and suggested dermabrasion which i've done in the past (only forehead). there is just some uneveness, rigid parts of the scar that i think if were flattened out a little bit, would make me feel a little less self-concious aobut it.

i remember you mentioned you like to botox the area a couple weeks ahead of the dermabrasion so i guess my question is would you be able to do a "spot dermabrasion" on 1 scar? or should i do like a CO2 laser?

i just reviewed your photos. i can dermabrade the next day. not the same day as botox. although 2 weeks prior is ideal let's not get unreasonable since you come from another state. i think you should botox on one day then dermabrade the next. is that clear?

but just to be clear, you can spot dermabrade 1 area/or scar?. if you have my photos, it's the scar in between my eyes. i don't know also if you can let me know the cost. and i assume it will be same down time as the previous time i had dermabrasion?

also how long after i have the procedure done can i apply make-up?

yes, i know the area. i will send you a PM with the projected cost. yes, the dermabrasion should be about the same downtime as your previous one i assume but obviously i did not do it. makeup usually a no go for a week.
