Dr. Lam,

I have noticed that when fat grafting is done around the mouth, the oral commissure area remains recessed as the other fat builds up. I know Radiesse is good for that, but is another option Silicone Microdroplets there. What is the safest way to permanently build up the corners of the mouth? How many sessions would that take? Thank you!

silicone is good for the marionette line but hard to actually turn the very corner up. what i tend to do for those interested is build up the marionette line with silicone with a couple of rounds typically then finish it with perlane for the person who does not mind a temporary fix. that way i get a steady baseline that only needs minor correction with the perlane. i actually just did that today for a lady i fat grafted about 4 years ago and we did it on camera for national tv for the show amazing race, for which she is a contestant. watch me this coming season!
