Hi dear Doctor!!!

How was the weekend where you traveled? Did you share it somewhere? I did not see it (yet, anyway).

I wanted to ask two things...

First... there are two cases in your webpage about acne scars where you left people with velvety skin. I mean, really velvet-looking skin.
The only thing that puzzles me is that when I see the before pics, I don't see much of a scarring. If you hadn't gotten such good results and made the skin almost perfect afterwards, I would not have even thought that these people had scars. I have a poor eyesight (really, I mean it) so I wonder if I just don't see clearly enough... but what type of scars did these people have before the treatment? The results were amazing, but if they had not been amazing, I would have not even noticed they had problems of scarring at all... is it the lighting or my poor eyesight?

thanks. i have been meaning to explain that photo in my before and after section but have not gotten around to it. the example you see is a 55 year old Korean woman who came to me to correct what she perceived as acne scarring. they were too superficial for me to fix with silicone and also TCA so i told her let's just put fat in there and see what happens. 9 months later i took this photo with consistent makeup and she was blown away. this is a better example of texture improvement than scarring but believe you me i see in person the scarring improvement. i have not seen her since but i am certain now that it is over 3 years out her result has steadily improved beyond what you see. thanks again for the query.

Ooooh, trust me, I see the improvement in the scarring!
I was simply surprised because I would not have considered her skin scarred (at most, a bit rough or sun damaged?) UNLESS I had seen how much nicer the skin became after you treated her. Only seeing the after made me notice the contrast in the quality of skin that in turn made me notice how there was some minor acne scarring I had not noticed in the before.

Wooooooow, that was achieved with fat !? whoaaaaaaa, fantastic job!

The more I read about it and see your work, the more I see how fat grafting (well done!) is by far the best answer to many ageing and skin damage-related issues that were and still are usually treated by other means.

Wow... this only confirms that I must keep on saving for that trip to your clinic in Dallas ...

there is no mystery about it! haha.
