Omega 3 post op

Postby Sarah » Fri Feb 20, 2009 9:51 am

Dear Dr. Lam,
I am nearly 3 weeks post-of from a neck lift and facial fat transfer. My question is when may I resume taking Omega 3 fish oil?

Looking better everyday,
Sarah

go for it! usually after 7 to 10 days it is fine. if i did not do the neck lift and only fat, then you can go back in about 72 hours.

Dr. Lam,
Thanks for your quick response! Do you see any benefits to the skin in taking Vitamin E?
Looking better everyday,
Sarah

if you are talking about vitamin e to the skin as a a topical, the latest research about a year ago is that it can be actually detrimental so i stopped. as far as an antioxidant pill, don't know.
best,

Dr. Lam,
How do you feel about topical Vitamin C? I have in the past used a stable 20% topical serum with Ferrulic Acid.

i believe it truly works and you must use a good version of it. my product ova-skin.com uses a very very stable form of vitamin c that i believe makes the skin look exceptionally good. mine does!
best,
