Hello Dr. Lam! One of the things that I feel self-conscious about is my uneven eyelids. I've had them as far as I can remember although it hasn't bothered me until lately.

One of my eyes has a high crease while the other seems to be a single eyelid.




If I tilt my head back, you could see the crease on that eye.




I have thought about trying an eye glue for now but I am not sure how I can even those two out. I am a 27 year old Asian (Filipino) male.

the best thing to do is to have a double eyelid procedure to more firmly fix both eyelids. i don't think i will get the two perfectly even but i should be able to reach a happy medium between the two. look at my before and after gallery to see how i can do that. in your case, i am afraid that the left eyelid may not be able to be lowered too much though. that is harder to do. it actually looks like your left eye is hollow accounting for the higher crease. fat grafting can lower the left crease but that might not be a good idea if you are young given the fact that fat is a live graft and might change over time especially since it would only be on one side. this is a hard one. symmetry is always difficult to achieve. i think just doing a double eyelid on both sides is the best option to try to get them more even but not perfect.

no, you do not have ptosis based on the photos. you just have an incomplete eyelid on one side.
