Lip Augmentation

Postby coco » Fri Jan 16, 2009 9:02 pm

Dear Dr Lam,

I was wondering if there is a procedure to make lips wider horizontally? I am bothered by how narrow my lips are in ratio to my round and wide face shape. I think my overall appearance would be more balanced if my lips were wider and bigger.

Thanks for your reply... would lip injections into the corners of the lips give the illusion of wider lips? I have lips which resemble the model Devon Aoki's so the sides are downturned. I would like the corners of the lips to be curved upwards like say Catherine zeta-Jones.

hmm, dangerous. will probably make you look like a clown. don't get crazy. stay safe, and go to a person with a good eye and hopefully integrity not to inject anything you ask for.

Dr Lam,

What about the corner lip lift? I found out about it recently and i think it could help my lips not look as downturned. Can you explain a little bit more about this procedure?

i stopped doing it. it does not work consistently or can lead to a joker's look.

oftentimes i see no difference at all. sometimes i have seen it look too elevated. it is too imprecise a treatment to make it worth while. plus it leaves a visible scar for too long. i simply don't do it anymore.
