Anterior cheek area

This section of the forum is dedicated to discussions on various surgical techniques for facial rejuvenation, including fat transfer/fat grafting, browlift, blepharoplasty (cosmetic eyelid surgery), facelift, etc. Also, this category includes questions on hand rejuvenation via fat grafting. (Of note, Dr. Lam does not perform body rejuvenation except for hand fat grafting)

Anterior cheek area

Postby desky888 » Fri Nov 21, 2008 7:02 am

Hi dr lam,
I'd terrible experience with my previous tear trough fillers injections, not only it didn't enhance my look it made me look like panda that has not slept for days.after my dr has 'removed the tear trough part with injections now the whole cheek looks flat again and my eyes look tired.

If i jus do the anterior cheek, will it make my eyes look more rested if i do not injected fillers on the eye area?

hope u can help in my query, thks

obviously, i cannot 100% predict if a cheek fill will do that for you but it can help. most oftentimes, a true rested appearance involves filling the entire area around the eyes, which is much better done with fat grafting. however, you can push your cheek up with your thumb. If that looks more rested (which oftentimes it does), then the answer is probably that it would satisfactorily do that.
best,
sml
