taller nose bridge

Postby ProudtobeanAmerican » Thu Nov 20, 2008 11:00 pm

Hi Dr. Lam,

I heard lots of great things about you through tv and internet. I've seen you correct plastic surgery problems but do you you fix noses for 1st timers? I have a "flat" Asian nose with little bridge and would like to have it taller. How much would be the total cost? What kind of procedure do you use, the ear cartilage? You mention little bruising and short recovery time, would it be true in this case? I imagine an object must be inserted to make bridge higher would cause bruising and longer recovery, correct?

Also, my sister had her nose job done in the past and looking to fix it. She is obviously not satisfied with her result. How much would it cost to correct? Again, total cost. If possible, please give us the breakdown on the costs. (The reason why I'm asking this is because some Dr.s in some state charge one flat fee and everything is covered. Other places, there's hospital fees, anesthesia fee, clean-up fee, Dr. fee, Dr. asst. fee, pharm. fee etc...)

heard lots of great things about you through tv and internet. I've seen you correct plastic surgery problems but do you you fix noses for 1st timers? YES, OF COURSE I DO! I have a "flat" Asian nose with little bridge and would like to have it taller. How much would be the total cost? YOU NEED TO ASK THAT IN PRIVATE SINCE I HAVE BEEN TOLD TO DO THAT. SEND AN EMAIL TO MARCY@LAMFACIALPLASTICS.COM AND SHE WILL HELP GUIDE YOU WITH PRICING. What kind of procedure do you use, the ear cartilage? GENERALLY, I PREFER SEPTAL CARTILAGE (FROM INSIDE YOUR NOSE BUT I OCCASIONALLY USE EAR. SEPTUM IS MUCH BETTER FOR TIP SHAPING IN MOST CASES. I USE EAR WHEN I HAVE NO SEPTUM.) You mention little bruising and short recovery time, would it be true in this case? I HOPE SO. I CAN NEVER MAKE A 100% PROMISE. PLUS I ALWAYS SAY THE ONLY THING THAT I CANT PREDICT IS HUMAN NATURE, MEANING I CAN'T PREDICT WHAT YOUR INTERPRETATION OF A SHORT RECOVERY TIME IS IN EVERY CASE. I imagine an object must be inserted to make bridge higher would cause bruising and longer recovery, correct? TYPICALLY NO. YES, THE OBJECT IS A THIN SHEET OF GORE-TEX.

Also, my sister had her nose job done in the past and looking to fix it. She is obviously not satisfied with her result. How much would it cost to correct? Again, total cost. SEE ABOVE. If possible, please give us the breakdown on the costs. (The reason why I'm asking this is because some Dr.s in some state charge one flat fee and everything is covered. Other places, there's hospital fees, anesthesia fee, clean-up fee, Dr. fee, Dr. asst. fee, pharm. fee etc...) THE 3 FEES YOU WILL NEED TO PAY ARE SURGICAL FEE, ANESTHESIA FEE, AND FACILITY FEE.
best,

These maybe silly questions but do you have free facial consultations? Do you also have digital images to show what I will hypothetically look like?

the cost of consultations is $100. that is applied to any service with me. digital imaging works much better on lowering a bridge rather than raising it. however, i can do that for you during a live in-person consultation in any case. i do not perform digital morphing over the net. sorry.
best,
