upper lip reduction

Postby dskennedy14 » Tue Oct 21, 2008 8:32 pm

Hi Dr. Lam,

I sent you an up-to-date photo. While I am pleased with the shape of the upper lip, I still believe it is too big in relation to the lower. The silicone did work in making the appearance a little more straight across. I was wondering if I could come back and have one more reduction to make the upper appear not as large as the lower. Please let me know what you think. If I have to come back in the future and have more silicone injected that would be ok. I am just tired of having what seems to me a larger than normal upper lip.

Hope you are doing well and working out hard,

Doug

my fear is that you have more fullness in your white lip than red lip and that further reduction would unbalance that ratio. send me a photo in a PM. that will help me decide.
best,

i looked at your photo. i could take a little more down. you also might need a bit more silicone too in the future. i know you live far away but i would not mind doing either one. i can't promise you 100% since i am not looking at you in person but i think we could take a little bit more if you would like (at no charge). obviously, silicone would cost a bit more as you know.
best,

Dr. Lam,

I would definitely like to have one more reduction...I don't mind if i have to eventually come in for the silicone afterwards. I'm just tired of the imbalance i see every day. I will e-mail Constanze and see when i can make it in...One other concern i have-i am starting to look tired around the eyes. Would you recommend a pixel treatment when i am in? I would like to get a fresher look under and around my eyes. Thanks for any advice you might have.

you can do one but you typically need a couple of rounds. as you know, i believe that tiredness usually is a volume issue but you have no fat on you to put there. we'll figure something out.
best,
