Silicone

Postby nick21 » Tue Oct 21, 2008 12:48 am

Dr Lam, I have had restylane injected into my temple scarring with rather short lived results. I have a feeling that the dense scar tissue forced the resty out of place and therefore ruined the correction. My derm now wants to try silicone Micro and i am just worried that without subsicion that this will happen with the silicone aswell and it will be pushed to somewhere where it shouldnt be. Do you think this could be an issue ? Thanks for your time

that is always a risk in general. i can't promise you your derm's experience level. in general, i feel comfortable injecting silicone into the temple even if it is scarred down. you should ask your injector that question.
