Blood Vessels in our Head

Postby Mysteryagain » Fri Oct 03, 2008 6:49 pm

Hi Doctor!

After reading previous posts on the risks associated with hitting blood vessels during injections, the curious me went looking for some drawing showing where our blood vessels "run" in our head (to better understand your explanatinons). But I could not find a drawing of the blood vessels in our face, nothing that shows why the area above the nose / in the glabella is one where an expert must make the injections.
Do you have a link or reference to a place where I can "see" where the blood vessels that are in the glabellar area, nose, etc. are?
Hugs and happy weekend!!!!

to tell you the truth, i can't recall the names of the blood vessels there myself. i don't have a reference. the bottom line is the area between the eyes can be safely injected but should only be done by an experienced injector that understands the limitations and precautions and is ready to handle any early problems.
best,
sml
