This section is dedicated to questions that don’t easily fit into any other category but that concern facial plastic surgery. For hair restoration, see Dr. Lam’s Hair Transplant Forum. http://www.drsamlamhairforum.com/
WHAT?????? I am not too certain what you are asking me but I assume you are asking what positive things does plastic surgery provide an individual contemplating it? If so, I would say many things. I also assume you simply mean cosmetic surgery since someone having half a nose missing and having it put back on their face has obvious benefits.
I would say having plastic surgery performed for cosmetic purposes, you can look better and feel better about yourself. Just as you may buy some nice clothes and feel good about yourself I think natural enhancement of the face can make you feel more confident and more self assured. It is difficult to convey to a person who has hair on his head what it feels like when you have no hair on your head. To be able to fill that entire head with hair is an incredible feeling for the patient and for me. For a lady who looks tired all the time and everyone saying, "Are you tired? Are you angry?" and after a rejuvenative procedure everyone says "Wow, you look rested. Did you go on vacation?" That is a great feeling again for both the patient and for me. Or a lady who is born beautiful but simply has a large hump on her nose, reducing that nose to fit her face so that she feels good about herself is an incredible feeling again for both parties. Hope that is what you were looking for.
Best,
SML
