not too certain about the lip pulling thing causing dryness but if it is in the target zone for removal, i.e., in the area that i would remove, then it will probably help you in that situation. with ear keloids, i have stopped removing them without radiation. i have found the failure rate just too high. in order to remove keloids you would have to time the radiation to start within 24 hours of my excision. cost wise i would have to see your situation to estimate it all. also, if you don't live in dallas, then i would probably recommend having someone do it for you back home with timed radiation. o/w here in dallas, it is a 5 day stay but must be planned in advance.
