Dr. Lam,
Would TCA peels in a lower concentration help with skin texture? Also do you perform TCA Cross with less than 100%? Would that be effective and minimize hyperpigmentation.

i used to do TCA at 35% but i have replaced it with plasma skin resurfacing because it is much better long-term on texture than TCA. i use TCA 100% only for punctate acne scarring issues. for hyperpigmentation without skin damage, i would probably go with a bleaching product or light IPL treatment but you could go with TCA if the condition is more superficial.

Can you perform the cross method using either 50 or 65% TCA. Is the downtime less and is it effective?

no, studies have compared 60% against 100% and they show it to be much less effective. i do not believe it is worth it especially when you want the fewest sessions possible with the best results. recovery will probably be comparable.
