Hi Dr. Lam, I'm a big fan of your work! A couple of questions regarding subcision and silicone injections for acne scars. I had silicone injections done by you with fantastic results over 6 months ago! Is it safe to have subcision along with restylane done now even though I have silicone injections in the same areas? Also will the subcision cause the silicone droplets to migrate because of the cutting underneath? Will subcision ruin the results of the silicone injections? Thank You Dr. Lam!

i do not believe subcision works in most cases and may carry risk if it is done by someone inexperienced. however, 6 months after silicone you should be fine for subcision and restylane. hope all is well!

Thanks Dr. Lam for your fast response! So getting subcision done in the same areas of the silicone injections shouldn't cause the silicone to move? Just worried once he cuts he might cut loose whats holding the silicone in place and therefore it might move out of place... Thank You

no, i do not think that will be the case. i think you should be fine.
