if they are raised, a laser that just works on color (like an IPL or other non-ablative laser) will not work. you will most likely need them either excised or shaved. if they are on the body and chest, those areas tend to heal very poorly especially if an incision is made. If it is on the chest, you might consider trying one using a shave technique to make sure the area does not turn into a problem. even white people keloid on the chest. just speak with a dermatologist first to make sure nothing is bad. sometimes in life we have to choose what may be the safer option rather than the most desirable cosmetic procedure.
