I've read your answers re: silicone to correct bridge abnormalities, but I am more concerned with the tip. I had an open revision rhinoplasty w spreader grafts, however a graft "shifted" on the left of my tip very shortly after surgery. Another graft was placed in-office to correct the resulting severely retracted left nostril. This helped but it is still noticeable, particularly in photos. Why do you not recommend using silicone microdroplets in the nasal tip? As it's permanent, the conflicting information is concerning. I just don't think I can go through another surgery, but obviously I don't want to end up disfigured. Thank you.

it is not a question of disfigurement. i also inject silicone into the nasal tip but it is typically not as effective since the nasal tip skin is relatively inelastic and stuck to the nasal cartilages. typically, the improvement is a lot less than the bridge.
