Hi Dr Lam,

I had a phone consult with you back in August about silicon injections for my acne scars. I have booked in with Constanze to see you early in December. I have a couple of questions (I'll be flying from Australia to see you):
- I use Retrieve Cream (Tretinoin 0.05%w/w) every second night, am I ok to use this prior to treatment?
- I have a frown line that is really due to an acne scar, can this be treated with silicon? I guess you will have to see it.
- Do I need to avoid sun exposure before and/or after treatment with Silicon?

Wow, that is a long distance to see me. I appreciate your coming that far. I just did a gentleman from Australia for acne scarring with silicone last week.

- Do I need to avoid sun exposure before and/or after treatment with Silicon? Generally not but I would not necessarily tan for a few days.
