I have an appointment in June but my skin really bothers me....am I a good candidate for silicone injections? I'm not sure why the picture is so big.......it's harder to tell with it being that large but please let me know.......thanks

obviously, it is just a photo but i can drag and drop it onto my desktop and i believe that you are a good candidate as the entire cheek looks sunken in plus there are some irregularities. i think silicone will probably help both but i would have to see you to determine more absolutely.

Hi Dr. Lam, I just had my appointment with you on Monday the 2nd and you gave me two syringes of perlane. I have a couple of questions, first of all is it safe to put a retinoid cream like differin gel on my face? My other question is could you put perlane in that one area that really bothers me, you said it was minor texture issues but in some lighting it looks awful....so I was wondering if more perlane could help? Thanks

1. retinoid cream is fine.
2. if it is a minor texture area, restylane/perlane may not work as well. they are better for volume but i would have to see you again to see it. restylane is a bit better than perlane for these minor areas but again these products do not work as well in small crevices. sorry cannot remember the details of your face.
