I've had a scar on my face near my eye for about 10 years (fell off of a trampoline). I had a consultation and the doctor recommended the geometric broken line procedure due to the direction of the scar and some other reasons. Right now the scar is indented so even if makeup could cover it up there would still be a big gap. What I'm really worried about is having the procedure done and then having the scar heal and be raised compared to the level of my face (so the opposite of what I have now). I think that would be even more noticeable than an indented scar. Do you know how scars typically heal using this type of procedure? And also what the typical down time is where the bruising and any tape or anything holding holding the stitches together will be gone? Thank you SO much for your time. I've been losing a lot of sleep debating whether this procedure is right for me and will make it look better, not worse.
