Hi Dr. Lam,
I live in San Antonio and I wanted to ask you a couple of questions. Is it possible to get Rhinoplasty and Otoplasty done during the same visit? If the answer is yes, approximately how long would it take for both procedures? Also, is the cost less because of the anesthesia only being used once? One more question, sorry, if I do go ahead with either or both procedures, I'm concerned about the after care. Would I have to go back to your office later on for follow-up care? Please let me know how all this works. Thanks for your time.

yes, you can do both at the same time. actually, the cost might be slightly higher in facility and anethesia charges but lower in surgical fees because i tend to do rhinos with an anesthesiologist and otoplasties with a nurse sedation provider. for ears, i have to see you the next day to take down the dressing and you would have to stay overnight anyway. i would then see you at a week to take out sutures for the nose. i would rather do that if possible because i am much more gentle when i remove sutures than most docs. hope that helps. for more details on a combined procedure, you can email marcy@lamfacialplastics.com.
