If a patient already has some restylane in their cheeks do you always remove it first before doing fat? What is the benefit to doing that? Is it ok if there is some Restylane still or does that mess up the fat?

yes, remove it. all you have to do is vitrase it down, that is inject a small dose of a dissolver and voila within 1 day the restylane is gone. i can do that for you a few days to a week before the fat. the reason to do it is so that i can gauge my permanent fill and not put permanent over temporary. even if it is a year or 2 out, you might have a bit lingering. it is almost always wiser to dissolve it before doing the permanent job. hope that is clear. if you have paid for fat with me, i will dissolve it for free and do it painlessly.
