Unfortunately, in the cheek area it can last up to 2 years or beyond but most cases last about 8 to 14 months. If you are lucky it will subside in 3 months or less but that occurs in less than 5% of people. Sometimes, the best answer to correct the problem is to balance the cheek by filling above it (under the eye: NOT WITH RADIESSE!!!!) and under the cheek (submalar region) with any product but preferably Restylane so that you can reverse it if you don't like it.
