in answer to your qeustions:
1. i can improve symmetry but cannot entirely fix it. when we strive for symmetry we are always disappointed because it is impossible to make two sides the same.
2. the downturns are hard to fix surgically.
3. i am very sensitive about ratios. however, the 1/3 and 2/3 does not need to be absolutely followed. i need to factor in gum show, teeth show, upper lip white length, size of lip, facial shape and size to decide on what would be best for you. same goes when you are talking about lengths from nose to chin. i do not go by rules but by my eye instead.
