my personal opinion is that you would not look better with your ears farther back. in any case, i would wait at least 6 months to see how things relax but i probably should not be your surgeon for 2 reasons:
1. i could not guarantee a little bit of relaxation.
2. your ears look about right to me. i know you probably want them super tight to your head but they may not look as natural that way and there is no way any surgeon can be that precise to keep your ears exactly at a certain point. ears can relax a bit. if your surgeon told you that your ears would be exactly where they were then that is something between you and him. i always say that ears can relax a little bit. you can never be 100% perfect with ears. i would say be happy with where you are despite what your surgeon says. if you cannot be, then wait 6 months but i probably should not be your surgeon because despite a ton ton ton of experience with otoplasty i NEVER promise that degree of perfection. it is unattainable.
