Dr. Sam Lam Plastic Surgery Forum

I flew in on wednesday to dallas at 8 am and had scheduled a lip correction/reduction procedure for 12:30 pm same day. for years I had been researching doctors who have performed this procedure often and who have become THE experts. Dr Lam stood out with his knowledge, artistic work, experience, thouroughness and countless qualities that a plastic surgeon should have. Dr Lam exceeded what I wished my plastic surgeon would be. To be quite honest there aren't enough words that can accurately describe my gratitude to Dr Lam. Anyway, when I made the appointment (about a month and a half prior) I decided I would stay few days in plano texas, at a neighboring hotel. I fly back home tomorrow sunday morning. I don't think that it was necessary for me to stay that long I could have easily flown back the same day or the day after. I would like to share my experience after the procedure. Well let me just start by saying that I did not even need a single pain pill. I just felt a little heaviness in the lip the next day since it was a little swollen. I was told that there will be swelling on the 3rd and 4th day. well I really don't think it's that bad. I actually went out last night and met up with my friend's daughter who happenned to be working on a tv show set in dallas and no one noticed anything. I went shopping at the mall and not a single person stared. I think I actually looked extremely normal and was comfortable to go anywhere I like. It took me a long time to make up my mind and have the procedure done ,but when I chose DR Lam and booked my appointment I knew I was going to THE ONE and ONLY best expert in this procedure. and now that I did it and realized how easy and painless it was I would advise anyone who has the same problem I had not to worry and choose Dr Lam the artist with the most confidence, expertise, experience and kindness. I am finally free to smile!!! Iwill post before and after pictures in ht future but for now being the private person that I am I still have to think about it. Please do not hesitate to send me any questions you may have regarding the procedure or my experience

While it is no surprise that someone was more than happy with Dr Lam's work, it is great to read of yet another specific example.
I have not had anything done with the Dr - YET. But I am saving as to have whatever I'd have done (probably eventually a fat graft) with HIM. I would close my eyes and tell him "do as you wish" and I know it would be ok

I actually consulted with him regarding fat graft on my follow up visit after the procedure and after seeing his work and how suttle and beautiful the results are I definitely would not have anyone but him touch my face for any procedure in the future. I am still not ready for fat graft and feel so far botox is enough to give me a youthful look. but Doctor Lam is the One to trust and he will be the one to work on my face anytime in the future.

Today is my 11th day after my lip reduction procedure. I am so excited about how beautiful my lips look I want the entire world to know. I can't stop looking in the mirror for God's sake. My heart is filled with so much Love for DR Lam. OMG what an artist!!!!! What a Caring doctor!! Since I've returned home I have had questions to ask him on a couple of occasions. It was so easy to get his attention. whether through a private message on the forum or through a simple phone call to his clinic. couple of times I took a picture and sent it to him in a private message accompanied by my question then I would go about doing my thing thinking like he's a doctor and has other things to do , he probably would get back to me the next day or so, only to prove me wrong. yes he is not your typical doctor!!!! I would log on to my email few hours later and find out he has answered my question long before I expected it. I could write a book about how wonderful my experience has been and it would surely not be enough! My DEAREST Doctor, I just sent you a picture in a private message showing how your beautiful work is starting to become evident. Hope you"re having a wonderful weekend. I pray for god to protect you so you'd be able to help other people like you helped me for a very long time.

It is my absolute pleasure to help anyone who feels like I used to feel before I had my procedure done with Dr Lam. if anyone needs answers to specific questions or befores and afters please do not hesitate to get in touch with me on the forum. right now I'm overseas taking care of my dad and have limited internet access but should be back in the states after the 5th of jan. by the way all my family is just as happy as I am to see me normal again
