a raised mole in general needs to be excised with a fusiform incision along relaxed skin tension lines to ensure the whole thing is out. read my mole removal faqs section under faqs to get a better understanding. the cost is $1500 including pathology fees. however, if you are from out of town, i am not excited to do it for you because a mole removal is 50% about a great removal and 50% about diligent aftercare. KTP laser for prolonged redness, 5-FU for any scarring, dermabrasion for any rough edges and visible line. and silicone for any depressions. All of this is included in the cost. However, if you are from out of town, I recommend your seeking the care of someone local only because I have to do so much aftercare to make it look as perfect as I can.
