I apologize if you've discussed this subject here in the past, but I was interested to know your thoughts on subcision (with or without saline injected at the same time) to treat depressed, rolling acne scars. Do you ever perform this procedure, and have you seen any significant results (or any beneficial result at all) with acne scars from this procedure?

I am very interested in your opinion on this subject as you are one of the very few plastic surgeons injecting silicone. If I have silicone injected into a scar, would I still be a canidate for surgical scar revision? I am worried the silicone may donought around the scar resulting in adhesions in the surrounding tissue therefore making undermining difficult.

dr. lam, i was wondering if tca peels if done repeatedly will have any effect on shallow ice pick scarring? i wasn't even sure if you performed tca peels so i was curious. in addition to my rolling scars i have some top layer ice picks that i have considered getting a peel done on.
