Hi doctor,

I had subcision that left behind lumps or bumps. It is pretty small in diameter and looks like a small to medium sized zit. Will this go away completely in time? If so, how long would it take?

I have an appointment in June but my skin really bothers me....am I a good candidate for silicone injections? I'm not sure why the picture is so big.......it's harder to tell with it being that large but please let me know.......thanks

I am super excited about my appointment with you, it is scheduled for June 30, 2010. I live in Kentucky, but we will be moving to Oklahoma in June so that is when I can get in to see you. My question for you is how do you determine what scars are treated with silicone and which to do the tca cross?

Dr. Lam, I have had 3 deep erbium laser treatments, along with a CO2 Fraxel Laser Surgery with TCA Peel for the box car / rolling acne scars which are mainly concentrated on my cheeks. I believe I achieved about 40% improvement (mostly due to the CO2 Fraxel) as my scars are much softer in appearance and are now very shallow. Have you published any literature on the your techniques for acne scarring? Specifically, I am curious about the silicone microdroplet injections. Also, have you heard of stem cell injections? Do you do this, and / or do you know whether or not it is a valid technique?

I understand that you are running business and there is competition, but I was wondering if you could recommended any derm/plastic surgeon colleagues in the NYC area that perform similar treatments that you use for acne scarring. I would love to make a trip out to see you but I figure there must be some doctors here in New York that do similar work. Please help me!

I noticed that you will be in St. Louis for a presentation in July. I am wondering if you are able to do consultations while you are here? I would like to see you for scar treatment, but would like to have the information to review with my dermatologist in St. Louis prior to committing to flight arrangements, hotel, etc. in TX.
