I am a 22-year old girl with a white skin (normal skintype).
I am here to ask a question about the scar as a result of my scar excision which I had 92 days ago.
It's on my right underarm, 10 cm long. The lower half is 1-2 mm, and the upper half is 3-5 mm wide.
It is a normal, non-hypertrofic scar (I'm using NewGel+ silicon strips and pressure dressing ...

I have various hypertrophic scars on my cheeks from acne. most are bump like only visble in a certian angle.
I was wondering base on your experince is it easier to treat hypetrophic scars or indendt acne scars.
Also what are the risks that I run that the hypertropihc may become indendt scars, during your treatmeant.

Hi Dr. Lam,
I have a rather large keloid on my upper middle chest area. It is about 2" wide x 0.75" ... and about 0.25" thickness. I've had it about 20 years... likely caused by an acne pimple scarring.

Do you think this is treatable with your method of surgical excision and radiation follow-up? I've tried everything so far (topicals, laser, steroid injections, etc). What's the success rate with your method?
