I don't know if I have too many sebum glands on my nose which makes it very oily. I just feel that there are more and more raised skin on my nose which makes my nose larger. I have seen a doctor/dermatologists and they just give me some tropicals to me which do not help at all.

If a person has an L silicone implant for 15-20 years, and wants to remove it because of either protrusion signs or deviation, what are the chances of the L having eroded the cartilage tip?

I'm just doing a little research here and there and found out that you don't even need silicone because now many are starting to use their own rib cartilage for the nose implant,

are rib grafts better than silicone and any other implants? And what are the risks involved with the rib graft?

ALso I've heard about rib warping... is there any way to prevent this from happening? And it probably won't be considered the ...

I have a very narrow nose bridge (between eye area) and would love to have it widened. Is that something that could be done with silicone? I would want the filler injected on each side of the nose bridge (between eye area).

Hi Dr. Lam,

I know of a person who had an L implant when they were 16. Now after 4-5 years, their nose is bulbous as the silicone has pushed the cartilage wider.
Is this a common issue with L silicone implant? Have you seen an L silicone implant make a nose wider at the tip over time?
