Is it safe to use the Pixel 2940 Laser in hair-bearing areas without causing permanent damage to the hair follicles?

What about the KTP Laser?

If either cannot be used in such areas, can dermabrasion be used in scarring around hair-bearing areas of the face such as the hairline or over the eyebrows?

Basically, would direct application of either laser to an area with hair follicles cause permanent damage to said follicles?

Have you experienced KTP side effects such as hypopigmentation in your practice? Since it is a short wavelength laser, it is my understanding that this can occur at times. Would this only occur for certain skin types/ethnicities or if the energy level is very high? Are there other side effects, especially if the treatment is aggressive? Thanks!
