I am interested in cheek fillers like perlane, and radiesse. I have seen some wonderful youtube videos of young women receiving cheek augmentation with radiesse. The results are amazing. Hi, i have fat on my cheek and my jaw that makes my face look huge. Wonder will it help to reduce my face size if i go for the botox injection? I am quite a thin person and really look weird with a huge face.

Hi Dr. Lam. I had microlipo to my neck approx. one year ago. Unfortunately, the Dr. removed all of the fat in my chin also.(microlipo) I will be having a chin implant to compensate for the loss in the lower part, but I am wondering if fat could be added to the other hollow regions?.. Hi, I watched your virtual consult regarding chin implants and your use of elongated implants. I have more of an oval jaw/chin and was desiring a more clean lined squared/blocked appearance. Does the type of implant you use provide this effect? Or would their need to be 3 separate implants to achieve such a look (i.e. mandibular implants and chin)? And if so, do you perform this type of procedure? Thanks!

I had fat transfer on my upper cheeks for 9 cc. each side! Quite a lot. The doctor said he has to put this much because the fat can re-absorb as much as 80%. I'm waiting for 6 months but still ,y cheeks stand out. I want to take it all out since I figure fat cheeks on Asian is too much and ugly.

You've mentioned that occasionally you do touch-ups. When you do these is it more of adding fat to specific areas of the cheek that need more fullness and then leaving other areas untouched or would you add fat all over again the entire area again. Like do you ever do "spot treatments" so to speak?

Do you use the FAMI technique, or transfer fat in the muscle area, or do you inject in elsewhere? The reason I ask is because fat needs a blood supply to survive and I read the best place for a good blood supply is in the muscle?
