I had A tired look on my face because of baggy eyes. So i wanted to use a filler to blend in the lower eyes with the upper cheek area. So i went to a Doctor in NJ for Restylane into the lower eye lids. I had it done and it's blended in good. But i had alot of bruising and red marks where it was injected. It looks like i have alot of injected areas on each side.I want to know whats the best way to inject under eye area. Did i need so many injection like 8 around each eye area. And how long is this Bruising and rediness going to last. I didn't think i was going to have down time with fillers. If i would have known this would have happened i would have did Fat Grafting than.

that is why i use cannulas to take bruising down in most cases to zero. i can't say how long your bruising will last. you must ask your doctor that question. sorry.

Hello Dr LAM

I have another question on the Restylane i had injected under boths eyes. Besides the black & blue that i got. I was taking EFA oils .Maybe thats why i got the Black & Blues. Should i Now stop taking the EFA's or it doesn't matter. I had it done on May 18, 2009. 2cc for both eyes and 1 cheek area. I notice now if my face has moisturizer or light oil. I can see lumpiness where i had the restylane injected. My face looks like i have lumps. And if i dim the lights and look i can see them more. I didnt have it before the Restylane.My face was smooth. Maybe i can sent you pictures. Thanks again.

hmmm, these lumps are most likely a product of restylane being placed not smoothly. you should probably have it dissolved by your doc. ask him not me. also, my belief is that fish oil does not matter at this point, but again you need to ask him. i don't like managing the after care of another person's injections. it is not fair to the doc.
